στα πλαίσια του προγράμματος ανεύρεσης και
προώθησης ταλέντων, θα μετάσχει με ομάδα παιδιών
στον αγώνα παιδικού τριάθλου που διοργανώνεται
στην Αγγλική βάση Ακρωτηρίου. Ο αγώνας θα
είναι το Σάββατο, 1.5.2010 , εγγραφές η ώρα
8.00 και έναρξη η ώρα 9.00 και απευθύνεται
σε παιδιά ηλικίας από 8-15 ετών. Για περισσότερες

Cyprus Triathlon Federation will participate
at the children's triathlon race with a group
of children's aged 8-15 y.o, which will take
place at the British base at Akrotiri. This
is part of the Federations program of finding
and promoting talents for our future elite
National Team.The race is going to be held
on Saturday 1.5.2010, registration 8 o'clock
and start at 9 o'clock. For more information

24 July 2009 Bay
to Bay Swim

The
annual Cyprus Joint Police Unit Bay to Bay Swim,
will take place on Friday 24th July 2009 in
Happy Valley, on the Western Sovereign Base
Area. The event involves a one nautical mile
sea swim (approx 1800 m) from Lemmings Beach,
Happy Valley, around the headland to what is
known as Tunnel Beach. There are normally over
200 participants, with a competitive race commencing
at 0715hrs, followed by a fun swim at 0730 hrs.
It is one of the premier events in the British
Forces Cyprus calendar.
The cost to enter the event is 15, which
includes a medal and t-shirt. There are separate
trophies for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd in Mens, Ladies,
Childrens & Vets categories. The event is
open to both military and civilians and all
proceeds are to a Service and local Cypriot
charity. It is hoped to hold a Grand Prize Draw
with some excellent opportunities to win meals
out, overnight hotel stays, beauty treatments,
gym membership and so on, all generating further
monies for charity.
Ypu can participate in this event, either for
training or just for fun!
