Notes:
1.
Please use the on line registration system in order to enter any
of the above races. Entries can be accepted upto 4 days before the
race. Late entries are subject to a late entry fee of EUR 10. We
reserve the right to decline late entries.
2.
A valid health certificate, issued by the Cyprus Sports Organization,
is necessary in order to register in
the above races.
3.
A Sprint Triathlon ( 750m swim, 20Km bike, 5Km run ) will be held
at the same venue and time for every of the Olympic distance triathlons.
These races will not contribute points to the National Sprint Triathlon
ranking.
4. A Super Sprint Triathlon ( 300m swim, 10Km bike, 2.5Km run )
will be held at the same venue and time for every of the Triathlon
and Sprint Triathlon races.
5. All races are non-drafting races unless otherwise is announced
for a particular race.
6. Whilst we have made every effort to minimise possible changes
to dates and times of races, we reserve the right to make changes
to the calendar of events when it is necessary.
7. Races can be cancelled if there is insufficient registration
in due time.
8. Categories
* Juniors Male B 14-16 years (except for the
Olympic distance)
* Juniors Female B 14-16 years (except for the
Olympic distance)
* Juniors Male A 17-19 years
* Juniors Female A 17-19 years
* Open Male
* Open Female
* Masters Male 40 years and over
* Masters Female 40 years and over
9.
Metals are going to be awarded to the first three finishers of each
category.
10.
Cyprus Triathlon Federation will participate at the:
a. Triathlon Championships of the Small States of Europe to be held
in Luxemburg on the 24th of August 2008 with a team of three men
and three women selected from the National Team.
b. European Triathlon Championships -Age Groups, to be held in
Lisbon-Portugal on the 11th of May with two men and 1 woman selected
from the National Team.
11.
Participation of other athlets to the above events together with
the Cypriot team is possible provided
a.
That these athletes are registered with Cyprus Triathlon Federation
and comply with the eligibility rules set by ITU and
b.
That they win their slot after qaulifying at the respective qualifying
races.
Cyprus
Triathlon Federation will untertake the neccessary arangements and
registration but will not be responsible for any expences.
